FTW ’24 kick-starts in Dhaka with massive response from RMG industry

Fashion Tech Week 2024 Dhaka has taken off to a resounding start today on 15th May at Radisson Blu Water Garden.

The two-day technology extravaganza is bringing together more than 15 insightful Tech Sessions, along with 50-plus Speakers and 20-plus Sponsors and Partners showcasing innovative technologies to over 1,500 Fashion Industry Visitors.

“Since we first considered venturing into Bangladesh with FTW, we’ve consistently received positive feedback from the industry. It’s overwhelming to see the enthusiasm with which industry peers are participating in the Expo and Conference,” says Bhumica Bansal, Director and Conference Head, Apparel Resources.

The Expo Zone of the event is demonstrating technologies such as On-demand Manufacturing; Industry 4.0; Predictive Analytics; Trend Forecasting, Virtual Fitting Rooms; Customer Engagement and Experiential Buying through technologies like AI/ML/AR/VR, 3D, IoT, edge computing, blockchain and smart textiles robotics.

Tonight, the event will also witness Apparel Online Bangladesh (AOB)’s ‘40 Under 40’ award ceremony – powered by FTW ’24 in association with BAYLA. The awards aim at recognising next-gen leaders who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, innovation and impact within the sector, setting the stage for continued growth and excellence.
